About the Builder Advantage Program

The Builder Advantage program helps builders offer state-of-the-art technologies without the headaches of trying to understand and sell these complicated systems. Sebastian is cg[2010-1185] insured. With this program, Sebastian gives the builder a competitive edge with little or no out of pocket costs.

Standard Features

Normally builders wishs to integrate a basic structured wiring solution as a standard feature in all of their new homes. The Builder Advantage includes a centralized enclosure that will allow the homeowner to distribute CATV or satellite to 4 locations, 2 phone lines to up to 6 locations, and provide a data termination hub with up to 5 locations. This package includes the wiring, termination, and installation of all components, as well as up to 6 jack locations.

Options

We offer a large number of technology options that can be easily integrated into any project. We work with each builder to determine the types of options they would like to have available to their buyers. Options can include:

The Sales Process

Your real estate people should be focused on selling the overall benefits of the homes and not on having to understand the integrated technology. To that end, we provide professional, trained and technologically knowledgeable representatives on site. Buyers meet with out technology consultants to determine jack locations and to go over the technology upgrades that are available to them. Buyers have the flexibility to choose up to 5 locations for phone, data, and TV as part of the standard features and they have the option of adding additional jack locations. Our qualified staff demonstrates the various technologies available while explaining the costs and the benefits.

Process Flow

We work with each individual builder to determine the paperwork process and flow of information between our companies. We will create co-branded collateral and forms to make the process as transparent to the homebuyer as possible. We work within your current processes to ensure that your projects run smoothly.

Payment Options

Homebuyers can have the option of paying for the systems in advance, through escrow, or rolling the items into their mortgage. With the values of homes on the rise, lenders have been willing to finance technology upgrades in the mortgages. Many lenders even allow buyers to put plasma screens, and big screen TVs into their mortgages.
